Vision

Our vision is to turn hipix^® into a widely used, indispensable still-image compression and enhancement technology, becoming as ubiquitous as the video infrastructure it is based on – supported on every device and widely used by a variety of applications and services.  hipix^® is an enabling technology for several major applications, and we envision hipix^® making a revolution in these fields. Markets such as e-publishing, e-learning and mobile marketing will benefit greatly from high resolution images, displayable on low cost tablets and phones, and using dramatically smaller files. E-magazines, high resolution E-books and newspapers, currently encumbered by large files, are certain to gain much from this technology.  Users of mobile phones, and other connected cameras, will finally be able to enjoy high resolution images  for sharing over mobile networks, the internet, through social networks, and on the rapidly growing TV screens (both in size and resolution), not being limited to the low quality, downscaled images prevalent today.

Our mission is to gradually make hipix^® available everywhere - on every platform, from embedded platforms to mobile and tablets and from personal computers to servers. Aiming to enhance and produce synergies with the most dominant tools and technologies such as PDF, Web technologies, and many others, as well as proprietary tools. Achieving this requires partnering with dominant hardware, device, and software vendors which is one of our main missions.
